Secondly, they visited the construction site of Urban Underground Space, where they were shown the currently largest individual underground space in China. They showed great enthusiasm in its planning philosophy to take human activities as the core, traffic as the key, building as the carrier, and municipal administration as the basis, and to integrate the transferring network of multiple interweaving metro lines connecting commercial and municipal facilities.

Thereafter, The Opening Ceremony was held at the meeting room of the Administration Office of Jiangbei New Area Central Business District. Li Qianwen and Ge Xiaoyong unveiled the plate of the international education practice base.

Vice President of NAU Li Qianwen expressed the willingness to share educational resources with the Central Business District, promote the construction of international student educational practice base, and jointly promote international cooperation. He required the international students to do the following:

1. Cherish every opportunity to know about and understand China, and gain a deep understanding of the model of modern urban construction in China via field trips;

2. Value every opportunity for learning, practice, and innovative thinking, record what they have seen and heard, actively provide feedbacks, and creatively apply “Chinese Wisdom” to the construction of their own country;

3. Seize every opportunity to perceive culture and engage in friendly exchanges, tell a more vivid “Chinese story”, and contribute to deepening friendship between countries and building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Finally, the international students had a heated discussion with the leaders and staff from Central Business District. They expressed their wish to learn the advanced philosophy of modern urban planning, which they would bring back to their own countries so that they could contribute more to the development of their countries and the revitalization of the nation.
